The Church has special Seasons of the year too. Each Season helps us celebrate the life of Jesus.

We just finished CHRISTMAS SEASON when we celebrated Jesus coming into the world.
CHRISTMAS SEASON ends when we celebrate the day Jesus was Baptized
Jesus Was Baptized
Jesus was an adult when he was baptized.
John The Baptist baptized Jesus with water in a river.
You were baptized with water too!

You Were Baptized
Do you remember being Baptized?
Probably not - you were just a baby!
Your Parents and God Parents brought you to church and words were spoken while water was poured on your head.
At Baptism, God’s special light comes into our lives, and we become children of God. This is one of the most special days of our lives.
Ask your parents to tell you what they remember about your Baptism. Who was there? Where was it?
When the priest or deacon baptized you, they said these words...
"I baptize you in the
name of _______________"

Let's Memorize Our Prayers
Grace Before Meals
Bless us O Lord, and these thy gifts,
Which we are about to receive,
from thy bounty,
Through Christ, Our Lord.
Amen.
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father,
and to the Son,
and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning,
is now,
and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.
Lord's Prayer
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
Bedtime Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.
Angels watch me through the night,
And wake me with the morning light.
Hail Mary
Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
