We are using a program called Decision Point by DYNAMIC CATHOLIC . Each lesson uses a series of short videos featuring Matthew Kelly.

Watch each video, then do the activity and/or answer the questions associated with each video on the Answer Sheet form below.

This lesson corresponds to Session 10  in your Decision Point workbook.*  Be sure to check out the additional sidebar information that appears only in the workbook.

Sessions are best done in a quiet place and in one sitting.

* Workbooks were purchased for all Confirmation candidates.  You should pick up your free copy at the Parish Office.  You can complete these online lessons without the workbook, but be sure to pick yours up soon.

Faith Formation Program

October

TO BEGIN...

...take a few calming breaths - make the "Sign of the Cross" and slowly read the Prayer.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;

where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is error, truth;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;

to be understood as to understand;

to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;

and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen.

Part of this lesson includes questions about the

Confirmation is traced directly to Pentecost.  This 2 Minute video is a great review of that and includes the Gifts of the Holy Spirit

NOTE: At the end, this video will tell you that this upcoming Sunday is Pentecost Sunday - It's NOT.  The video was created to prepare people to attend Pentecost Sunday Mass.  But the info is still great!
