We are using a program called Decision Point by DYNAMIC CATHOLIC . Each lesson uses a series of short videos featuring Matthew Kelly.

Watch each video, then do the activity and/or answer the questions associated with each video on the Answer Sheet form below.

This lesson corresponds to Session 7 (pg.167) in your Decision Point workbook.*  Be sure to check out the additional sidebar information that appears only in the workbook.

Sessions are best done in a quiet place and in one sitting.

* Workbooks were purchased for all Confirmation candidates.  Please pick up your free copy at the Parish Office.  You can complete these online lessons without the workbook, but be sure to pick yours up soon.

Faith Formation Program

November

TO BEGIN...

...take a few calming breaths - make the "Sign of the Cross" and slowly read the Prayer.

My Lord and my God, I firmly believe that you are present in the Eucharist. Take the blindness from my eyes, so that I can see all people and things as you see them. Take the deafness from my ears, so that I can hear your truth and follow it. Take the hardness from my heart, so that I can live and love generously. Give me the grace to receive the Eucharist with humility, so that you can transform me a little more each day into the person you created me to be.

Amen.

This Lesson will focus on the EUCHARIST.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church says

"the Eucharist is the source and summit of Christian life."

That's quite a statement!

Our belief that Eucharist is the "True Presence" of Jesus is central to Catholicism.

To prepare you for the rest of the lesson, check out this video.  It  provides a quick review of why we accept the Eucharist as "True Presence".

The Eucharist is at the core of our faith
